The JFC Brunssum International Club, together with the Spanish delegation, is excited to host a Bake Sale on Wednesday, 27 November 2024, at Miner’s Restaurant, JFC HQ, Brunssum. 

The event will take place from 09:30 to 13:30.

🌍❤️ Bake for a Cause:
This year, all proceeds will go to support those affected by the recent flooding in Valencia, Spain. Every cupcake, cookie, or slice of cake brings us closer to making a difference!

The event is free. All we ask is that you buy a bowl (prices range from 10-50 euro) and make a donation if you want to taste the delicious soup on offer. 

All proceeds go to the South Limburg Food Bank. 

*Please bring non-perishable food items for the Zuid Limburg Food bank.

Sgraffito - Glaze, scratch & design clay bowls. One for you, one for Empty Bowls 2024

Bowls are pre-made, participants will only be glazing & scratching designs.

Scan de QR code and register. There are only 10 slots available for each class. Please pay at the Arts & Crafts Center directly (*Payment due by Monday, Sept 24th).

On Saturday, November 16th 2024 the JFCBIC and MWA will host an Empty Bowl Event for the NATO Community. Guests are encouraged to purchase a handmade bowl that they can take home with them as a reminder of all the empty bowls in the community. They will also enjoy a simple meal of bread and soup. All proceeds will go to the South Limburg Food Bank. 

Donate your time & bowls for the cause

 Come help us create and glaze bowls for Empty Bowls 2024. Handmade bowls will be for sale. Proceeds from each bowl go to Zuid Limburg Food Bank. No experience necessary.

*Snacks & drinks will be provided.

About EMPTY bowls: this is international effort to fight hunger. Local potters, craft people and educators work together to create hundreds of handcrafted bowls for each event. Guests are invited to a simple meal of bread and soup. Handmade bowls available for purchase. Proceeds go to the Zuid Limburg Food Bank.
